Nao Espadarte was a Portugese ship sunk in 1558 off the coast of Mozambique, en route from India to Portugal. The ship was found in 2001 and Ming porcelain collection from the Jiajing period was excavated as well as a total of 12.4 kg of small ingots and fragments were recovered by treasure-hunters. The ship was mainly destroyed.
