2021 Beijing Peace Garden International Women’s Festival

To commemorate International Women's Day and International Peace Day, and award the outstanding women who have made special contributions to world peace, public welfare, cultural interaction, and innovation development, the China World Peace Foundation will host the first “Beijing Peace Garden International Women’s Festival” at Beijing Peace Garden Museum, on 8 March 2021.

This celebration of International Women’s day will focus on the themes of “Peace, Happiness, Health - Women's strength amid the Anti-Pandemic Cultural Interactions”. The Assistant Director-General for the Social and Human Sciences of UNESCO, Ms Gabriela Ramos, will deliver a speech on contemporary gender issues and UNESCO’s engagement.

The event will be divided into four parts: a forum of global females cross-culture influence power, the award ceremony, the signature of the proposal for “Safeguarding Women's Rights and Interests and Stimulating Women's Power” as well as painting exhibitions.
