I am a very excited to share Digital Storytelling as a tool for social work education.

Komalsingh Rambaree (PhD) is an Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of Gävle, Sweden. He has a PhD in Social Work and Social Policy, from University of Manchester (UK). In the recent past, he has been involved in Integrated Coastal Zone Management projects in Western Indian Ocean Islands, funded by the European Union and World Bank. He is currently engaged in teaching, learning and researching issues related to social work and social policy for sustainable development.

I am a Professor in Social Work at the University of Michigan in the U.S.A. I have been working on the elimination of gender-based violence, and the promotion of rights and well-being of marginalized communities, especially immigrants/refugee communities. My work also involves participatory action research efforts to develop more inclusive disaster response and policies.

I am PhD candidate in political sociology currently researching on intercountry adoption practicies and policies in European Uniuon countries
