Describe the main features of the policy/measure: 

The Uganda Film Festival is intended to help showcase what the industry is doing and at the same time focusing attention to all the other facets of the industry.
The aim is to generate interest in the Ugandan film industry both locally and internationally, but also to bring all the industry players together in a more focused and promising environment.
The objectives are to bring the contribution of the film industry to the public so as to stimulate interest and build the capacity of the young people in film and to show case the beauty of Uganda to the international world

What are the results achieved so far through the implementation of the policy/measure?: 

It has grown in the numbers of film producers and young people who submit thier films for awards
The quality of films showcased has improved
