Describe the main features of the policy/measure: 

La "Direccion Nacional de Propiedad Intelectual (DINAPI)", como persona juridica de derecho publico, con caracter autarquico y patrimonio propio, como organo de ejecucion de la politica nacional de Propiedad Intelectual. La misma se regira por las disposiciones de esta Ley, las normas complementarias y sus reglamentos y se relacionara con el Poder Ejecutivo, a traves del Ministerio de Industria y Comercio.
La mision de DINAPI es disenar, implementar, fomentar y coordinar las politicas publicas de propiedad intelectual, concediendo la proteccion de los derechos derivados de esta materia a fin de garantizar la seguridad juridica a sus titulares.
La DINAPI a traves de la Direccion De Promocion De Industrias Creativas y Folklore, busca fomentar las Industrias Creativas y Folklore Nacional; desarrollando, promocionando, incentivando y protegiendo estas Industrias como fuentes generadoras de empleos, ingresos y desarrollo economico; Asimismo fortaleciendo la identidad cultural nacional a traves del capital intelectual y el ingenio; para el combate inteligente a la pobreza a traves de la Propiedad Intelectual.
Siendo las Industrias Creativas uno de los principales ejes de planificacion estrategica que define las actividades dentro de la DINAPI.

The "National Directorate of Intellectual Property (DINAPI)", as a legal person of public law, with an autarkic character and its own patrimony, as the executing body of the national policy of Intellectual Property. It will be governed by the provisions of this Law, the complementary norms and its regulations and will be related to the Executive Power, through the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
DINAPI's mission is to design, implement, promote and coordinate public policies on intellectual property, granting protection of the rights derived from this matter in order to guarantee legal security to their holders.
DINAPI, through the Directorate for the Promotion of Creative Industries and Folklore, seeks to promote Creative Industries and National Folklore; developing, promoting, encouraging and protecting these Industries as sources of employment, income and economic development; Also strengthening the national cultural identity through intellectual capital and ingenuity; for the intelligent fight against poverty through Intellectual Property.
Being Creative Industries one of the main strategic planning axes that defines the activities within DINAPI.

What are the results achieved so far through the implementation of the policy/measure?: 

Promocion, coordinacion y ejecucion de planes, programas, proyectos tecnologicos y lineamientos que colaboren a nivel nacional, apuntando a la masificacion del gobierno electronico, la simplificacion y modernizacion administrativa, fomentado el uso de las Tecnologias de la Informacion y Comunicacion (TIC) en la gestion publica para una administracion mas eficiente, transparente y eficaz de los recursos publicos, con especial enfasis en el acceso a la informacion, la publicidad, la economia y eficiencia, y la transparencia en la gestion publica.

Promotion, coordination and execution of plans, programs, technological projects and guidelines that collaborate at the national level, aiming at the massification of electronic government, administrative simplification and modernization, fostering the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the public management for a more efficient, transparent and effective administration of public resources, with special emphasis on access to information, publicity, economy and efficiency, and transparency in public management.
