The article states that every person has the right to freedom of expression, which includes; freedom to seek, receive or impart information or ideas and freedom of artistic creativity and Academic freedom and freedom of scientific research*
The constitution guarantees;
1)The right of artists to create without censorship or intimidation
2)The right of artists to disseminate and/or perform their artistic works
3)The right for all citizens to freely enjoy artistic works in both public and private
4)The right for all citizens to take part in cultural life without restrictions
5)Article 36 of the Kenya Constitution guarantees the Freedom of Association. It states that every person has the right to freedom of association, which includes the right to form, join or participate in the activities of an association of any kind.
