The government has implemented the policy and measure for domestic content incentive. The related measures are:
1. Data collection Program; and
2. Establishment of Community Radio;
Data collection is an essential program to support the Domestic Content Incentive. CITL is the responsible body for media data collection, identifying the media channel existence and operational management of journalism. The data collected is intended to be used for various purposes; recognize the quality of the provision of media services, provide and support institutional cooperation with the public body, international journalism agencies and relevant agencies to develop and improve the qualification of the media in Timor-Leste.
Communality Radio establishment is a government initiative to enable the community in all national territory to access to all information related to the country's development process in all sectors.
Generally, Policy and Measure for domestic content incentive implemented are recognized to contribute toward the following National Strategies for cultural development (Details; Goal 1 National Strategy and Frameworks for Development of Cultural and Creative Sectors):
1. disseminate and promote cultural heritage; and
2. create cultural mappings and inventorying system to disseminate available cultural information;
