Ms Alejandra Carrillo Olano is a communication scientist with a postgraduate degree in pedagogy, a radio producer and a trainer in communication and community radio processes, mainly in rural and indigenous contexts. She has been a member of Red de Comunicadores Boca de Polen since 2008, where she has carried out different tasks such as: radio producer, trainer in community media, fundraising, and institutional linkage. She is part of Red de Radioformadores in Mexico, as well as of the Advisory Committee of the Diploma for Community Technicians in Broadcasting and Telecommunications which has created the Techio Comunitario digital educational platform for community and indigenous communicators, together with different organizations. She has collaborated in different journalistic, academic, and pedagogical publications aimed at community communication in Mexico and Latin America.
