Ms Sara Mohammed is a theatre and film instructor at Wolkite University in Ethiopia. In addition to being a committed and responsible lecturer, she is very active in the extracurricular activities of the University, including world theatre day celebrations and community service undertakings and arrangements to launch an undergraduate programme of film and television production. After finishing her preparatory classes, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts from Addis Ababa University in 2009. After working as a private school teacher for three years, she reintegrated the theatre industry and became one of the founding members and Head of the Theatre Arts Department of Wolkite University. She also obtained a master’s degree in film production in 2018 from Addis Ababa University, and is aiming at becoming an independent filmmaker.
